Greetings! My name is Father Anthony Gerber. I am the Senior Associate Pastor here at Incarnate Word. I grew up in South County Saint Louis and am the third of four children. I grew up in a soccer crazed family and love soccer. Long before becoming a priest was on my radar, I went to WashU here in St. Louis, then Franciscan University for grad school. I did a semester abroad in Rome which would change my life: Pope Saint John Paul II died while I was there. I would go on to teach high school in Northern Indiana where I finally said yes to God's invitation to enter seminary. I have served as a priest throughout the Archdiocese for nearly 12 years and I particularly love giving spiritual direction and offering Holy Mass. I also love skiing, hiking in the mountains, Sacred Art and Music, and being a kid at heart. But since I'm also the old man of the rectory, I do like naps. Lots of naps.
