Hello and welcome to Incarnate Word! I hope this parish feels as much like home for you as it does for me! I was born and raised here in St. Louis and most of my family is still in town. I am the oldest of 14 children and was home-schooled for grade school and the first year of high school. I attended a small boarding school in Hannibal for the remainder of high school and then enjoyed 8 years of seminary at Kenrick Glennon Seminary in Shrewsbury.
I have been a priest since 2008 and have been honored to serve at the Cathedral Basilica, St. Joseph-Cottleville, and St. Michael parishes before arriving here as pastor in 2017. I love being a priest for the countless ways I get to serve God’s people and the ways that I am welcomed into your lives. One of the most rewarding aspects of my life is the privilege of walking with people in every stage of life and through every human experience. I love getting to know my parishioners, spending time with them here at the parish in our many ministries but also in their homes, for dinners and visits. I also enjoy many hobbies but my favorites are learning new things, anything active, hiking through the national parks and building and fixing things in my wood shop and small engine repair “ministry”. If you’ve not done so already, make sure and say hello after Mass or any other time our paths meet and welcome to Incarnate Word!
