Hello, my name is Fr. John Schneier, the Associate Pastor of Incarnate Word Parish, and part-time chaplain to Maryville University! I’m a St. Louis native, having grown up in St. Ferdinand Parish, and I've been a priest of the Archdiocese of St. Louis since 2017. I’m a 2010 graduate of St. Louis U High, and while in high school, felt the call to serve God and the Church as a priest. After graduation from High School, I entered Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, graduating from college in 2013, and was ordained in 2017. I love everything about the priesthood, but most especially, helping make Our Lord present in the Sacraments, whether it’s providing spiritual nourishment in the Eucharist, new life in Baptism, mercy in the Confessional, or consolation to the dying in Anointing of the Sick.
In my free time, I LOVE Cardinals baseball, Blues hockey, Manchester United soccer, and golf (lots and lots of golf). I also play the piano and pipe organ, and enjoy traveling on occasion.
