We’re so glad you’re here and that you’re interested in learning more about Catholicism. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is an information and discernment process you can enter into; in which you learn about various aspects of the Catholic faith.
Part of the discernment process includes a weekly discussion of the Sunday readings, which takes place on Sunday mornings. We typically have a fruitful spinoff conversation as well. If you work on Sundays or have some other major conflict, formation can happen in other ways.
If you’re Baptized, but have not received First Communion and/or Confirmation. We can also develop a formation plan that is based on your previous exposure and preparation. Please touch base with Fr. Schneier.
What if I’m not yet ready to inquire about RCIA? Perhaps you aren’t ready to enroll in RCIA and would prefer to speak to Fr. Schneier privately about a particular concern. That is absolutely fine! Call the parish office at 314-576-5366 to set up a time to meet. Please don’t let anything prevent you from learning more about the love and mercy of Jesus Christ available to you through the Catholic faith.
